Sebastopol, one of the most talented and original dance groups of Ukraine, will grace the stage of La Salle des Ambassadeurs of Casino du Liban from June 24th till July 6th in their latest splendid performance: 20th Century Exhibition Dances.

Founded in 2000, Sebastopol has been awarded twelve times the title of Absolute Champion of Ukraine. It is considered to be the theatre whose creative works are based on ballroom dancing.

Sebastopol’s great repertoire includes among others Carmen, Love Story, The Best, Argentine Tango, Notre-Dame de Paris, Pygmalion, Cinderella, and The Nutcracker.

The group has an outstanding artistic success on tours in Europe and all over the world, especially in Germany, Belgium, Austria, Holland, Poland, Switzerland, and Norway.

The team consists of 50 troupers, actors-dancers, real masters of dancing. The soloists of the theatre are highly renowned in Europe, being winners of prestigious dance championships in London, Berlin, Kiev, Moscow, and St-Petersburg.

Sebastopol’s performances have the power to fascinate and tantalize the audience with the wonderful costumes, amazing music and most of all the superb agility of the dancers who perfectly command the techniques of modern dancing. They are at all times filled with true, sublime love between two divine creatures, the man and the woman.
